I think of Friday night. I think about the few times I ever said goodbye to someone, at that moment, knowing I’d never see them again. I think of you telling me I can’t stay because you’d end up doing something inappropriate if I did.
Have you ever handle the hand or wrapped your arms around a human body for the last time? I’ve experienced that moment three times. The feeling is so alive even though you’re dying inside.
